My name is Jennifer Geist, and I started Zeitgeist Creations in 2010 after fifteen years of teaching and working for non-profits that were transforming classrooms through new digital communication tools.
Global education is a dynamic field that responds to changing educational needs of our interconnected world. It incorporates new technologies, virtual exchange, innovative practices and diverse perspectives into the classroom.
At Zeitgeist Creations, we create opportunities for teachers and students to connect, problem solve and learn with their global peers. Schools, universities, non-profits and foundations hire us to design and curate curriculum, develop online collaboration programs, virtual exchanges and to facilitate large service learning projects.
Collaboration is a working practice and Zeitgeist Creations facilitates projects that not only gain results, but that also develop the skills and relationships we need in order to work together. This work is rooted in the heartfelt belief that everyone brings value to the table, and that it is through examining a diversity of perspectives that we will tackle the most difficult global problems. Our projects bring together amazing combinations of educators, students, and organizations to cross pollinate and practice the art of collaboration.
